What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy involves breathing concentrated oxygen in a pressurized environment. This allows oxygen to dissolve more efficiently into the bloodstream and reach tissues with compromised circulation — a key factor in post-operative healing.
We offer non-invasive, wellness-grade hyperbaric oxygen therapy in a private setting designed to support your recovery.
Benefits of HBOT
Accelerate Tissue Healing
Supports the body’s natural healing process by increasing oxygen delivery to surgical sites. Enhanced oxygen availability helps support tissue repair, collagen formation, and recovery during the critical post-operative phase.
Reduce Swelling & Inflammation
Post-surgical inflammation and fluid buildup can slow recovery. HBOT supports oxygen delivery to compromised tissues, which may help reduce swelling and promote a more comfortable healing experience.
Improve Circulation to Surgical Sites
Encourages improved blood flow and oxygen diffusion in areas affected by surgery. Enhanced circulation supports wound healing and helps deliver nutrients essential for tissue recovery.
How it works
During post-surgical Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), you rest comfortably inside a pressurized oxygen chamber while breathing concentrated oxygen. The chamber pressure is gently increased above normal atmospheric levels, allowing your body to absorb a significantly higher amount of oxygen than it can under normal conditions.
This increased oxygen availability helps support the body’s natural healing response following surgery. Oxygen is delivered more efficiently to tissues affected by surgical trauma — including areas with reduced circulation — supporting tissue repair, collagen formation, and cellular recovery. HBOT is commonly used as a supportive recovery modality to help reduce inflammation, promote circulation, and encourage healthy healing after surgical procedures.
What to Expect
You may notice a mild pressure sensation in your ears — similar to what you experience during air travel — which typically resolves quickly as your body adjusts. Sessions are usually 60 or 90 minutes, depending on your recovery plan. After your session, most clients are able to return immediately to their day. Many report feeling more relaxed, clear-headed, or supported in their overall recovery following treatment.
You may feel a slight sensation in your ears, similar to changes in cabin pressure during a flight, which eases as you adjust. Treatments typically are either 60 or 90 minutes, and afterward, you can return immediately to your day feeling refreshed and energized. With each treatment, your body absorbs more oxygen to accelerate healing, improve recovery, and optimize your health.
